Acid alkali salt concentration transmitter is a process instrument that uses non-contact electrodes to measure the conductivity value of a solution to determine the concentration. It can be connected online to detect the content of acid, alkali, and salt in aqueous solutions during industrial production processes, avoiding measurement difficulties caused by viscosity, scaling, corrosion, and other reasons. Mainly used in industrial production processes such as boiler feedwater treatment, chemical solution preparation, monitoring of bottle and tank cleaning processes, and environmental protection.

1、 Wiring instructions

Please wire the Hosman plug according to the following diagram

1. Wiring: Connect the circuit according to the requirements of Figure 2 or Figure 3, and after powering on for five minutes, it can be verified.
2. Verification: Taking the two-wire 0-8% sulfuric acid concentration transmitter as an example, connect it according to Figure 4.

2、 Transmitter inspection
Prepare five standard sulfuric acid solutions: 0.01%, 2%, 4%, 6%, and 8%. First, calibrate the 8mA and 16mA points using 2% and 6% solutions, and adjust them accordingly. Then, calibrate the 4mA, 12mA, and 20mA points using 0.01%, 4%, and 8% solutions. Calculate the maximum difference and fine tune the "zero" and "full" potentiometers to minimize the error.
When calibrating, it should be noted that after calibrating with a solution of one concentration, when calibrating with another solution, it is necessary to clean with a solution of the same concentration before recalibrating to avoid diluting or concentrating the calibration solution and increasing the calibration error.
Due to the special conductivity relationship of acid-base solutions, when there is no solution in the conductivity cell, the output of the transmitter is not exactly at zero, but below zero (see Figure 5).

Attention: As the transmitter has been calibrated according to the measured medium and concentration provided by the user before leaving the factory, it is generally not advisable to turn the potentiometer.
3、 Put into operation and use
After the transmitter is calibrated, it can be installed according to the process requirements. The flange surface should be padded and tightened, but excessive force should not be applied. After wiring, carefully check for errors before turning on the power for operation.
The transmitter will not experience any malfunctions during operation. The conductivity pool has a flow hole of Φ 14 and a large diameter of Φ 47, with a straight and smooth inner wall that is not easily attached to objects and is easy to clean. A relatively clean acid-base solution can be used for one or two years without causing significant errors; When measuring media with excessive scaling and sedimentation, the cleaning cycle should be appropriately shortened. If there is scaling in the NaOH solution, it can be cleaned with 5% HCl.
